The board

Everything you put into the board, your housemates’ names, rooms, jobs and points, is saved in the browser’s own storage on the device you use it on. It is never sent to us, and we cannot see it.

Because it lives on that device, clearing the browser’s data or removing the app deletes it. Save a backup now and then from Settings: it downloads a file you keep.

We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use that information to identify anyone.

If this changes

House Plus, coming later, will keep everyone’s phone in sync, so it will need to store your board on a server. Before that happens we will update this page and say exactly what is stored, where, and for how long. Nothing changes for anyone who keeps using the free board on one device.
